With enriching professional experience working with at-risk children in a school setting, Jannie has nurtured her goal of contributing to the happiness of families. Having retired from the federal public service, I have had the opportunity to hold positions as a project manager, national coordinator for the Department of Justice Canada’s Excellence Ceremony for several years, and assistant in the offices of ministers and deputy ministers, as well as in the House of Commons. Through these roles, I have had the chance to participate in committees and working groups, where I learned that working on a project is, above all, about teamwork, and that listening is a form of communication.
